Boa Morte / Quinta Grande (Half Day Levada Walk)

This trail originates in Levada do Norte. The North Levada, as the name suggests, is on the north side of the island and stretches for about 60 km, crossing much of the south coast of the island between Ribeira Brava and Estreito de Câmara de Lobos. The route chosen for our walk is about 7 km long and very accessible. Along this Levada channel, besides the panoramic views over the sea, we see some of the exotic flora of the island such as eucalyptus, acacia, pine trees and many wild flowers and also many "poios", the name given to the agricultural fields.
